In honor of Armistice and Veterans Day (Friday, November 11, 2022), I wanted to share the scene when Dr. Dawson first meets Basil of Baker Street and the detective immediately deduces his full military background. Major David Q. Dawson previously served as a surgeon in the Queen's 66th Regiment in Afghanistan before returning to London to find new lodging. He quickly becomes a valuable assistant and good friend to Basil.
