07-12-2019 | Updated Professional Artists with a new artist feature, Miguel Ojeda, for his submission of a Basil and Dr. Dawson drawing. It was inspired by the Sidney Paget drawing of Holmes and Dr. Watson from the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story, Silver Blaze. Miguel is also the president of the Spanish association of followers of Sherlock Holmes, CÍRCULO HOLMES.

07-05-2019 | Happy 33rd Anniversary to The Great Mouse Detective from this past Tuesday (July 2nd). The 2019 Disney Daily Desktop Calendar featured the film with an image of Basil. It's now been added to the Disney Daily Desktop Calendar section of the Miscellaneous photo page. Also added was a contribution to the Fan Art page of Professor Ratigan Sketches by Girlfriend. The work is awesome; check them out!

06-28-2019 | New artwork from James Silvani; he's bringing some of it with him for this year's San Diego Comic Con (July 18 - 21, 2019). He shared some of what he's bringing including one with Basil of Baker Street. Added to his art section at Professional Artists.

06-21-2019 | Updated Professional Artists with another brilliant work of art featuring Basil and Ratigan (by Pablo Vidal of Instagram). The concept was movie style, like a poster, to show how the pair might look in real life instead of just animation. Please check out Pablo's gallery for other amazing works!

06-14-2019 | Added a brilliant artwork piece featuring Basil of Baker Street (by Brian Slatky of Instagram) to the Professional Artists page. Check out his other amazing works at his Instagram!

06-07-2019 | Information for Book 7, Basil and the Royal Dare, a brand new adventure created by Cathy Hapka and illustrations by Dave Mottram, has been added to The Series section of The Books. This is a continuation of stories from where Eve Titus left off from Book 5, Basil in the Wild West. Book 6 was Basil and the Big Cheese Cook-Off.

05-31-2019 | Released May 22nd: Fidget, Ratigan's peg-legged lackey, has been added to the Pin Trader Delight. More information is available at the Pins section of Merchandise (page 2). Also added to the Drawing section of Audio & Video Galleries, deviantART user Gaamatsugirl565 is asking for art submissions for a Sketch MAP. There are 15 parts for users to pick and choose what to draw for this particular GMD story. If interested, check out the YouTube video for further details.

05-24-2019 | Added more photos from to the Mouse-Sized Scenery in Malmö (by AnonyMouse on Instagram) section of Miscellaneous photos. This time they've jumped to the future with Olivia Flaversham as an adult and running her own Private Detective agency. The details are phenomenal!

05-17-2019 | Added to the Odds and Ends section of the Miscellaneous photo gallery: A Disney park crossover art by Ashley Taylor (Instagram). It's Basil and Dawson Exploring the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and it was featured in the Disney Parks Blogs for their Disney Doodle of the Day. Also contributed by The Mouse Avenger at the Fan Art Off Site section: four new artworks featuring her OC's (The Face in the Mirror Poster, Teenage Rhapsody, Killer Queen, and Champion Of The Arena) and at the Goofs page, her own explanations to some of the Anachronisms found at The Great Mouse Detective Internet Movie Database Goofs.

05-10-2019 | Updated the Professional Artists page with an entry, Al Creed, a digital artist who makes very detailed 8 bit pixel art characters including Basil of Baker Street. The work is incredible and gives nostalgic feels for the classic gamer, so check out his gallery at Instagram!

04-05-2019 | New pin alert, released March 14, 2019! The image and information on a brand new pin, Disney Disguises- Reveal/Conceal - Basil and Dawson, has been added to the Pins section of Merchandise (Page 2).

03-29-2019 | At Professional Artists, showcasing Jay Fosgitt's wonderful crossover of Basil, Dr. Dawson, and Ratigan meeting Sherlock and Dr. Watson (Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu) of the TV series Elementary.
