Animator John Varvir (Instagram) created this tribute sketch featuring Basil with Mr. Musker. Added to the Professional Artists page of the site. 04-13-2018 | Added a new Basil image signed by Barrie Ingham to the Autographs section of the Miscellaneous photo page. 04-06-2018 | Updated James Silvani's section at the Professional Artist's page with another wonderful crossover drawing featuring Basil and Darkwing Duck. Made at WonderCon in Anaheim, CA. It features Basil of Baker Street, Dr. Dawson, Toby, and the Flavershams Hiram and Olivia. 03-23-2018 | Continuing with The Walt Disney Family Museum exhibition, "Make Believe: The World of Glen Keane," I came across an article of theirs with the animator discussing the creation of Professor Ratigan. It's been added to the Behind the Scenes section of this site. 03-16-2018 | At the Miscellaneous photo page, I added some information for Make Believe: The World of Glen Keane, a special event at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, CA. The current exhibition runs from March 9th to September 3, 2018. 03-09-2018 | New arts and crafts from Etsy user SuspendedAnimationNY, this is a heat-based hardboard design of Basil and Dawson to stand up in your home decor. Added to the Craftwork section of the Miscellaneous photo page, respectively. 03-02-2018 | More beautiful art found featuring Basil of Baker Street (and the second drawing) by Illustrator John Migle from Instagram. The drawings were added to the Concept Art section. 02-09-2018 | Happy-One-Day-Early-Birthday to Barrie Ingham (Basil's English voice actor), who would have been 86 this year. This week I've added a Flashback Friday photo of the actor himself from 1988 (with Illustrator Pete Emslie) to the Contemporary Cast & Crew page. Pete met Barrie while he was in the stage production of "Me and My Girl" in Toronto. 02-02-2018 | Happy Groundhog Day! :) Added new images on a Basil/Sherlock tattoo to the Tattoo Art section of the Miscellaneous photo page. The Sherlock portion is from the quote next to Basil.
