Although she is based on Mrs. Hudson, Holmes' landlady, her role in the Eve Titus books is that of A Mousekeeper instead. This brings on a little confusion as to what her exact duties are for Basil. As it is shown, she takes care of his flat yet never gets involved in any of his cases. She makes sure the home is kept tidy, prepares delicious meals for the two mice (her specialty is a cheese souffle), and she keeps a cheerful disposition to any guests that arrive.
