{ Characters: Thug 2 (Bill the Lizard) }

Disney is notorious for inserting characters from previous films into later ones without an explanation. Why Bill, or a character that looks identical to him, appears in this film is anyone's guess. Although the 'lizard with a ladder' originally appeared in the book, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, it was Disney's 1951 feature, Alice in Wonderland, that viewers remember him the most. Thanks to a large sneeze by a giant-sized Alice, he skyrocketed out of a chimney and into the heavens above, disappearing from view.

Perhaps he flew straight out of Wonderland and into London where he decided to go rogue with the rest of Professor Ratigan's gang? No one knows why this reptile decided to hang around with a group of rodents. One can assume that he's just there to sing, dance, have a little champagne, and watch an overweight feline devour one of his friends.

Memorable Quotes:

  • "Yeah, uh, a big mouse!" (in referring to what Bartholomew meant about Ratigan)
